Hey ,
This is Day 6 in the 17 laws I believe can help anyone thrive in 2026 and beyond.
Law 6 is simple, but it is deep.
Build the right habits.
Aristotle said something that has stayed relevant for centuries. He said we are what we do repeatedly. That excellence is not an act, but a habit.
Think about that for a moment.
Excellence is not something you do once in a while when you feel inspired. It is something you practice daily, often quietly, often unseen.
Your life today is a reflection of your habits.
Not your intentions.
Not your plans.
Your habits.
I believe strongly in the favor of God. I believe God helps, lifts, and opens doors. But I also believe God is a God of order and excellence. He is not a God of chaos.
And order is sustained by habits.
This ties directly to what I shared yesterday about discipline. Discipline creates structure. Habits are what keep that structure alive over time.
You cannot thrive without the right habits.
It’s not possible.
So the real questions are not dramatic questions. They are honest ones.
What do I do consistently?
What habits are quietly slowing me down?
What habits are injuring my progress without me noticing?
And on the other side, what habits do I need to build to support the life I say I want?
Because the truth is, your future is being shaped daily by small, repeated actions.
If you consistently delay, you build a habit of delay.
If you consistently avoid hard things, you build a habit of avoidance.
If you consistently show up, even when it’s uncomfortable, you build a habit of showing up.
.
And habits don’t change overnight.
They are built intentionally.
They are built patiently.
They are built with awareness.
As we move towards the end of this year and into 2026, I want you to sit with this seriously.
Look at your life.
Look at your patterns.
Not just the big moments, but the ordinary days.
Because those ordinary days are where habits are formed.
And habits are what eventually decide outcomes.
Excellence is not an act.
It is a habit.
This is Law 6.
See you tomorrow.
Your Fave,
Darasimi
