A Lesson I learnt about Challenges

, Happy New Year.

I hope you are already making progress.

It's been a while since I sent you a newsletter but one of my goals this year is to have more impact and I'll need to be intentional with writing to you. So look forward to hearing from me, at least once in a week.

I want to share an insight that will change your approach to life.

I recently had an experience that taught me an important lesson about challenges. I wanted to share with you, knowing that you'll find it insightful.

I had a challenge in 2019 that delayed me for about three years. It felt like my life was going down the drain, according to the normal calendar of life.

I know you are wondering what it was, . I'm writing a book on it and I'll definitely inform you.

Here's where the lesson is, during the three years of delay was when I started my first business, learnt skills, made money, organized conferences, made impact and built influence.

What seemed like the worst time of my life yet turned out to produce my best season yet. I made money, I made impact and I built influence. How was I able to achieve this?

  • PERSPECTIVE IS EVERYTHING.

This is a secret that would change your game. If you approach life with a perspective of learning, you'll always come out of challenges victoriously.

Everything that happens in your life and to your life is an opportunity for you to learn, both good and bad. When you approach life as a learning ground, everything will definitely turn out fine.

Challenges are part of life. You cannot take it away from life but what you can do is be prepared to learn from them. I had challenges, I approached it from a learning perspective and I made the best use of it, coming out on top.

I'll continue next week.

I hope you find these words valuable. I hope this story resonates with you and that you can take something away from it. I welcome your thoughts and feedback.

Stay Jiggy,

Darasimi Ademola.
