Law 14: Diligence Still Wins

Big dreams require matching effort.

Hey ,

Today is Law 14 in this series.

And I want to talk about something very simple, but very uncomfortable for many people:

Diligence.

I think one of the biggest issues with our generation, believers and non-believers alike, is that we have big dreams but small effort.

Big visions.

Big goals.

Big prayers.

But very little intentional action.

Here’s a simple way to explain it.

Mathematically, 2 + 2 = 4.

If you have a 2 and you want a 4, you must add another 2. There’s no shortcut. No emotions. No faith declaration that changes the math.

But many of us want a 4 while adding half effort.

We want big results with partial work.

We want excellence with convenience.

We want visibility without consistency.

That doesn’t work.

Diligence is what bridges the gap between what you want and what you get.

Scripture says a diligent person will stand before kings and not before ordinary men. That tells you something important: how seriously you take your work determines how far it goes.

You may have a great idea.

You may have a strong calling.

You may have a clear vision.

But if you are lazy with execution, nothing will happen.

Faith does not cancel hard work.

Grace does not excuse laziness.

Favor does not replace effort.

Diligence means:

– You show up even when it’s boring

– You keep working even when results are slow

– You finish what you start

– You don’t procrastinate

– You don’t just talk, you act

You do things properly.

You do things fully.

You do things consistently.

Results may not show immediately, but diligence compounds.

This newsletter itself is proof for me.

I committed to writing every single day for 60 days. Sunday to Sunday. I’ve never done anything like that before. I usually take breaks. I post a few times a week. I slow down.

But this time, I stayed with it.

Not because it was easy.

Not because I always felt inspired.

But because I committed.

That’s diligence.

And that’s how things get built.

So as we move toward 2026, this law matters a lot:

If you want to get things done, start doing.

If you want results, match your effort to your goals.

If you want growth, remove laziness.

If you want impact, commit and follow through.

Don’t reduce your dreams.

Increase your diligence.

That is Law 14.

Talk tomorrow.

Your Fave,

Darasimi.

It is always reassuring to see that thorough preparation and persistent effort remain the true deciding factors in modern legal strategy. When navigating ongoing legal matters, keeping up with case updates through reliable tools like https://dentoncountycourts.org can make all the difference in staying ahead of important deadlines. Diligence isn't just about showing up; it's about mastering every detail before stepping into the room. This post serves as a valuable reminder that shortcuts rarely pay off when consistency is required.
