Hi All!

Things here have been hectic here at Daphne McLean HQ. Every year, from the week before Thanksgiving until the second weekend in December I am in non-stop party planning mode.

I’ve hosted Thanksgiving every year since the age of 19. The only two exceptions were when I was 9 months pregnant with my first kiddo, and last year when I traveled to my In Laws. Immediately following Thanksgiving, is my husband’s birthday, my father-in-law’s birthday, and then my son’s birthday. 12/5, 12/6, & 12/7. Not to mention, Christmas season is kicked into high gear! THIS YEAR we’re adding major construction into the mix.

Despite my hectic schedule, I’ve taken the time to sip on some delicious hot cocoa, watch a few Hallmark movies, and decorate as much of the house as I can. If you’ve been with me for awhile, you know that I go all out!

Once again, the holidays will be a little smaller, a little quieter, but filled with love and warm memories. I have lots to update you on. However, if you would like to see pics of my tree and some of the fun holiday things I have going on, please join my FB group.
