Hi!

Thank you for joining my newsletter list! First, let me introduce myself. I’m Daphne McLean. I’m a cozy mystery author living in central NJ with my husband, two children, a puppy, a kitten, and a flock of chickens.

My debut novel, Red Picket Fences was published in February 2019.

Here’s a little more about me:

Likes: Coffee, wine, crochet, french fries, snarky coffee mugs, reading, writing, gardening, chocolate, my chickens, my dogs, my husband, and of course, my children. Depending on the day, the order of those things changes.

Dislikes: Scratchy sweaters, white chocolate, getting up early, hot avocado, bugs, and not having enough time to read.

I’m fascinated by true crime but love the light-hearted nature of the cozy mystery genre.
