Hello and Happy Pride Month!
I hope you spend June celebrating love in all its colours.
A huge thank you to everyone who snapped up my books during my birthday celebration. I hope you enjoy the stories. :)
I received some wonderful presents from some dear author friends, too. They know me so well.
I have a future book in mind for this beauty. Can you guess what it might be?
My froggy is handmade. Isn't he gorgeous? I shared a story with my friend about my dad. His nickname was Frog, and Dad and I had long conversations about everything when I was young. We wondered what would happen when we died, and Dad promised me he would let me know if he was okay when the time came. Several years later, he kept that promise.
He passed away in the early hours, and when I prepared for bed that night, there on my bathroom window was something that had never appeared there before. It was the roundest, greenest frog I've ever seen, and it was croaking loudly as it stared at me through the glass. I knew that was a sign from my dad telling me he was okay.
I can't see a frog without thinking of my dad. It's the same for rainbows. He always said how could anyone be unhappy and not filled with awe when they saw something so beautiful in the sky. I can't help but think the same thing for the rainbow that represents Pride month, either. :)
Ember's Curse is behaving itself, mostly. I may have a sneaky peek of the cover to share in the next newsletter. :) I'm so excited for you to meet Talise and Deacon and for everyone to read their story.
Until next time.
Best wishes,
Danni
