The BMW 4 Series is preparing for its LCI facelift and spy photos have been released. The car will get new headlights, grille, taillights, and interior updates, such as the iDrive 8 system. The 4 Series Convertible will come with a B58 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine with 382 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. The car is designed to be a mini GT car that is best enjoyed with the top down.

BMW is working on a mid-cycle update for the 4-Series, which will have subtle styling changes including redesigned LED graphics on the headlights and possible new alloy wheel designs and colors. The interior is expected to remain largely the same with BMW's new Operating System 9 and greater focus on electrification. Production of the facelifted 4-Series is expected to start in early 2024.
