First Tease of the 2024 BMW i5 Before October Launch

BMW has released its first teaser image of the next-gen 5 Series, revealing the all-electric and wagon versions. It is due to launch in October 2021 and will also include an electric M model. BMW has a wide variety of SUVs, including the X5 M Competition and X3 M Competition, which are both performance vehicles with different engines and weights. The X5 M Competition has a 4.4-liter twin-turbo engine delivering 617 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque, and the X3 M Competition has a 3.0-liter inline-six engine delivering 503 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque. A drag race between the two vehicles can be influenced by several factors, including the surface and the temperature.

Two cars with similar power and transmission were put up against each other in a series of drag races. The Mercedes-AMG GT S was lighter and won the first race, while the BMW M5 F10 won the second race. The third race was a close one, with the Mercedes winning overall. The AMG GT S completed the quarter mile in 11.87 seconds, while the BMW M5 took 12.48 seconds.

Not Anytime Soon: New BMW M2 Competition
