2022 BMW X5 M Facelift Rendering

Nearly three years after its market launch, the G05 BMW X5, and its M model, is preparing for a facelift. While the previous generation model F15 didn't actually get a facelift, this new one will follow in the steps of other BMW models. Recent spy photos point to a new headlights design, as well as some other upgrades to the front fascia.

BMW is road testing its third-generation X1 ahead of an expected debut in the first half of 2022. Given that the current X1 has only just been facelifted, having first gone on sale in 2015, we don't expect to see the new car becoming official during next year. Visually, it appears the next X1 will feature a design evolved from that of the newer, bolder X2, as well as the new 1 Series.

BMW X8 M Hybrid Spied On Video Defying Physics At The Nurburgring

Rumors of a high-horsepower BMW X8 M surfaced before we even spotted a camo-wrapped prototype. Eventually we caught a standard X8 prototype in public, followed in the spring of 2021 by a potential X8 M hybrid sighting. The video comes from CarSpyMedia, which recently caught BMW testing its forthcoming flagship SUV at the Nürburgring.

2022 BMW IX3 Gets A Refresh After Just One Year

BMW has given the iX3 a mid-cycle refresh for 2022, after only about a year of sales. The iX3 will be produced in Shenyang, China, in a joint venture with Brilliance Automotive for export to Europe and for the Chinese market. The reason for such a quick update is that the iX3 debuted well into the product cycle of the underlying X3 model, which was due for a mid-cycle refresh anyway, so the iX3 will get a fresher look in the process.

G-Power Turns BMW M8 Into 888 Hp Hurricane RR

Building the Hurricane M8 models, G-Power took what it had learned from the M5 and applied that knowledge to the 4.4L S63 V8 under the hood of the M8. Via Evo UK, G-Power tuned the V8 to 829 hp and an astonishing 774 lb-ft of torque, 212 and 221 over standard, thanks to upgraded turbochargers, a less restrictive exhaust, and a new tune in the ECU.

In this video, we get to see an M40 engine from an E30 BMW get restored. For those who aren't familiar with BMW's engine codes, the M40B16 engine is a 1.6 liter naturally-aspirated four-cylinder engine used in several BMWs of the era. In this case, it came from an E30 BMW 316i, which itself is also getting a restoration.
