BMW M8 GTS spied

Spy photographers has caught a very interesting-looking BMW M8 testing at the Nürburgring, recently. It was wearing bodywork and color accents we haven't seen since the company released the hardcore BMW M4 GTS. There's a deep splitter under the bumper, a new rear diffuser with integrated rear fog light, and orange accents on the brake calipers and side vents.

New 2022 BMW 7 Series spotted testing at the Nurburgring

The new BMW 7 Series has been spotted undergoing the latter stages of its development programme at the Nurburgring. Its front end is unlike anything else in BMW's line-up - the kidney grilles have shrunk compared with the old model, while the streamlined nose and low-slung headlights reference BMW's latest pure-electric model, the BMW iX. The rear of the car is a little more conventional, with the only major changes being a slightly taller bootlid and reshaped bumper.

BMW Is Already Testing The M4 CS On The Nürburgring

All of BMW M's modern CS models give us a good idea of what to expect from the upcoming M3 and M4 CS-stiffer suspension, a stripped interior, and carbon-fiber body panels, among many other small changes. Recall that the previous M4 CS carried a six-figure base price. The cars testing here sound like they have automatic gearboxes and it's unclear if the production M3 and M4 CS will have a manual option like the base model.

Video: Old BMW M3 Competition Takes On New Model In Drag Race

Whenever a new M car comes out, a price increase comes with it, especially compared to the outgoing model. The video below shows, without a doubt, that you're well off with the new BMW G80 M3 Competition. The new model might've been criticized for leaving the seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox behind or for being a bit on the heavier side of things but the harsh reality is that it's simply better.

New BMW M4 Competition Drag Race The Audi RS6 Avant

Archie Hamilton Racing on YouTube orchestrated a drag race between the two to settle the score. Unlike the BMW M4 Competition xDrive model released last April, the contender in the video above is the RWD version, which could pose as a disadvantage against the RS6 Avant with Quattro system.

2022 BMW 2 Series | FIRST DRIVING FOOTAGE

Some European journalists recently had the chance to get some pre-drives of the 2022 BMW 2 Series Coupe, during its pre-production phase and, during which, the Bavarians gave out some initial details. As of right now, there's only a BMW 230i and a BMW M240i. According to BMW, the 230i will get from 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, with the M240i taking 4.5 seconds. The BMW M240i will get an electronically-controlled limited-slip rear-differential as-standard, in addition to xDrive all-wheel drive.

BMW i4: Two models at launch time, around 80 kWh battery, 300 miles range

On June 1st, we can report that BMW will reveal two variants of the i4 electric car. Final figures on the electric range will be soon finalized and revealed, but we do expect around 300 miles for one of the two models. At a first glance, this BMW i4 prototype was equipped like it was ready to tackle the most challenging tracks in the world.

BMW X7 Dahler Makes its own BMW X7 M, taking the M50i to 630 HP. The guys from Dahler decided to stop waiting for BMW to create a proper X7 M model and they did one themselves. Their BMW X7 version now has 630 HP and 830 Nm of torque, figures good enough to put even the almighty ALPINA XB7 in its place.

With Android 12, Google Will Turn Your Smartphone Into A Car Key

The digital car key will be available in yet unnamed 2022 vehicle models, including ones made by BMW, and some 2021 models. Consumers who own car models that have enabled NFC technology, or near-field communication, will be able unlock their car by tapping their phone against the door. Google said users will also be able to securely and remotely share their car key with friends and family if they need to borrow the car.

Video: BMW Head Of Design Explains The History Of The Kidney Grilles

BMW knows it and the backlash the company got when they unveiled the new, 'extra-large' kidney grilles we're seeing on certain cars today has been overwhelming. Domagoj Dukec, as the head of BMW Design, has been the center focus of all the critics so far and, in an interesting turn of events, he decided to address some of them directly. When a teenage critic wrote to the BMW CEO, Oliver Zipse, complaining about the design of the new cars, prompt action was taken.
