BMW I7 Electric Sedan Coming With Around 650 Horsepower
Spy photos have shown the BMW i7 electric sedan undergoing extensive testing. The company has yet to make anything official - and likely won't until the reveal - though a new Autobild report says the sedan could offer 650 horsepower. The 650-hp figure has been tossed around before, the suggested output for the top-tier offering, though there's been no confirmation from BMW. The Autobild report is just the latest to reiterate a rumor that continues to circulate unabated.
BMW IX3 Facelift Spied With New Lights And Possibly An M Sport Package
It will be interesting to see whether the iX3 LCI will come with a beefier version featuring xDrive seeing as how the current model is offered exclusively with a single motor and rear-wheel drive. BMW is expected to roll out the X3 and X3 M facelifts later this year, with the purely electric derivative likely not far behind.
It's worth mentioning the blue iX3 is depicted with the optional M Sport Package possibly coming with the facelift.

Video: How To Drive The BMW M5 Competition On Track
The BMW M5 and the BMW M5 Competition are some of the best products to come out of the M division in the last 10 years. The current generation M5 has already been added to the history books as the first ever M car to come out of the box with an all-wheel drive system. That's probably why the guys from Evo decided to put together a short guide about how you should go about driving this beast on the track.
Video: BMW M8 Competition Goes For A Hot Lap On VIR
The BMW M8 Competition wasn't the fastest car on the track this year but it did rather well, nonetheless.Under the hood of the M8 Competition hides the famous 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 S63 engine you can get in other models in the BMW M range today as well. That made the BMW M8 Competition the eight fastest car in this year's contest, marginally slower than the Taycan Turbo S and 5 seconds behind the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4. What's interesting though, as Car and Driver points out, is that the M5 Competition was faster on the same track, last year.
VIDEO: BMW X5 XDrive45 Drive By Joe Achilles
The BMW X5 xDrive45e, which is a surprisingly impressive overall car, as you'll find out in this new video review from Joe Achilles. The BMW X5 xDrive45e uses the brand's most powerful hybrid setup at the moment, with a 3.0 liter turbocharged I6 and an electric motor. So it's shockingly fast for such a heavy SUV. In fact, Achilles was able to record 4.9 seconds to 60 mph, which is a few tenths faster than BMW claims.
Video: The Smoking Tire Drives The Alpina XB7
The Alpina XB7 is based on the BMW X7 M50i and uses an upgraded version of the N63 engine found under the hood of that car. The engineers in Buchloe upgraded the turbos, the cooling and the exhaust and squeezed 612 HP out of the engine and 590 lb-ft of torque. When you take everything about the XB7 into consideration, from the center of gravity to the weight of the car and, of course, the laws of physics, it becomes an immensely impressive machine.

Video: BMW X6 M Competition Drag Races Tuned Jaguar F-Pace SVR
It's a rather well known fact that the new generation BMW X6 M Competition model is seriously fast in a straight line. Even in an age of incredibly fast SUVs coming from almost every brand, the BMW X6 M still manages to impress with its outrageous performance figures, especially from a dig, when its launch control and sticky tires can put its power down. The video below features a car of the latter category, a Jaguar F-Pace SVR. You might be disappointed at first, thinking that the F-Pace can't possibly keep up with the X6 M Competition but, mind you, this is a tuned car.
Video: BMW M8 drag races Audi RS6 Avant
Pitting the BMW M8 against the Audi RS6 definitely doesn’t seem fair. The two cars have very different approaches and different body styles, even though they have similar powertrains. And yet, that won’t stop people from doing it. The video below shows exactly what would transpire if that was to happen, but in this case we also have to take into account that these cars have been tuned, prior to showing up at the drag strip.

Manhart Builds The Ultimate BMW M2 CS
For many enthusiasts, the BMW M2 CS is the ultimate M car and one of the best sports cars the Bavarian automaker has built in a long time, but the best can always get better. German tuner Manhart has a new one-off version of BMW's superb sports coupe dubbed the MH2 GTR. Built as a successor to Manhart's MH4 GTR inspired by the M4 Champion Edition racecar, the M2 CS has been upgraded with a slew of visual and technical enhancements that make it more extreme than the already-hardcore standard car. Under the hood, the standard M2 CS is powered by the M4 Competition's 3.0-liter twin-turbo straight-six tuned to produce 444 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque.
Top 10 Most Powerful BMW Engines of All Time
The new BMW M5 CS sits at the top of the most powerful production series BMW cars ever made. It took nearly 30 years to overshadow the iconic S70 McLaren F1 engine. Even though, some may argue that there was another BMW engine which was more powerful than the S70. That would be the modified N74 twelve-cylinder unit that sits under the hood of the Rolls-Royce Wraith Black Badge.
Paul Walker's BMW M1 Sold For $500,000
The BMW M1, the now-discontinued ancestor of the BMW i8, is a rare and unique car. But some examples are more special than others. The M1 once owned by the actor and gearhead, who tragically perished with his friend and business partner Roger Rodas in a car crash back in November 2013, was up for sale on Bring A Trailer. The winning bid is now official: $500,000. Walker's past ownership is certainly not the only reason why this particular M1 took in half a million bucks. It was just one of ten examples modified by BMW dealer AHG.
