A branch cannot produce fruit unless it is connected to the vine. My natural tendency? Self-sustaining independence. This has a way of getting in the way when it comes to faith. I’m learning that my strength comes in acknowledging my weakness; admitting my need I return to my Source. Only in Him may I find life, abundantly. I'm so excited to help facilitate a new local exhibit of art inspired by CONNECTION (with God, self, and/or others), on vines, and on Jesus' words in John 15: "I am the vine, you are the branches. Abide in me and you will bear much fruit; apart from me, you can do nothing." John 15:5 If you live in the Treasure Valley in Idaho and would like to participate in this exhibit, visit vineartsboise.org to find more information. We're welcoming visual art, creative writing, AND performance art submissions. There's also a few upcoming events that you're welcome to join so that we can connect, TOGETHER. (PS you don't have to be attend Vineyard Boise to participate.)
