These two art pieces where done on both "sides" of a difficult period of time. I imagined myself into the story of Gomer and Hosea. If you're wondering about the funny names, it's a biblical story of two real life people who lived in ancient Isreal. One was a godly prophet, the other, an "unworthy sinner"(I'll let you guess which one I was relating to at the time...). God tells the godly one to go marry the sinner, and to continually pursue her and speak tenderly to her, even though she persisted in her own ways. The story becomes an allegory for God's great compassion and relentless love for his children.
