There is a park near my grandparents house that we fondly call the bird sanctuary. While that's not technically its name or purpose, the land is set aside to help protect the local wildlife. There is the occasional tree, but it is mostly tall grass. Miles of tall grass, with small lakes and creeks and the sound of birds.

It's my favourite in the winter, when the grass gets frosty and every step gives a crunch. The tall grass collapses from the weight of the morning dew that froze on it.

These colours are pulled from walking those paths.

If you are a plant lover, I can assume that by now your plants are spending their time indoors. Which makes this plant care spread all the more apt. Simple and effective, I can see myself adding new plants that I need help remembering their preferences.

I still can't get over this clever and simple envelope design! Matching stamps, everything written in white, and shaded to match the stamps. Its so pretty!
