Leaves! I just love them.

From mid-September, as they begin to fall and the smell of them slowly dissolving lifts off the ground to the October leaf raking, pile jumping. Well maybe not the raking part.

You know what else is beautiful right now? The sky. Specifically when the sun sets. And the bleeding colours it creates while setting. And the short while after it sets. The twilight. Magical I tell you.

Thats what inspired this weeks colour palette. The bleeding sky and moody twilight.

Makes me think of sitting on a hill, bundled watching the day leave, and the night come.

Cozy season is coming up and when I saw this layout I thought that those days sure looked cozy, all cuddled up with the flowers.

The colours are so evocative, the leaves and flowers are almost a romantic fall theme. Reminds me of lipstick and evening walks.

And hanging plants over a banner? Beautiful. I am imagining the pots full of roses though.
