I remember telling someone that if she met a target I considered easy-to-reach, I would give her N250,000. She first smiled and then said, I will try. from her tone and expression, I already knew that she wasn't going to push herself. Sure enough, a few days passed and it was clear that she wasn't serious. She forfeited the juicy N250,000 by her refusal to get the job done.
If a friend offered you that amount with only this one condition: show up at a certain place and time, wouldn't you at least try to?
