Well, I really hope it has not yet happened.
It seems to be happening to so many people these days.
People are getting scammed. A lot of people.
Often, so-called traders and investors come with juicy offers that are enticing and seemingly irresistible.
I know of a young lady who lost millions to such.
I know of 3 young men from humble backgrounds who worked very hard and put some money aside- totalling millions. They gave their funds to "investors" and eventually lost it all.
I also know of agritech platforms that have left people dry. They promised interests but disappeared after a while.
They block their numbers and don't respond to their mails.
People are literally in tears and depression as they mourn the loss of their hard-earned money.
It's not a funny place to be. Not funny at all.
