The Council of the European Union has released its compromise text on the proposed amendments to the EUDR, following extensive feedback from Member States and industry. The revised approach aims to clarify implementation timelines, reduce administrative pressure on operators, and ensure a more workable transition into the new due diligence framework. The European Parliament on Thursday agreed.
