Hey Friends!
Well, I wish I could say we're having cooler temperatures, but I'm in Texas, so there's that lol. It's always hot except for maybe a month. But I got to go away to Northern Virginia to see family. I just wanted to spend time with my dad since he's alone most of the time. He's 84, but you wouldn't know it. He's very spry. I swear, he's going to live to like 110 lol. We always like to take a drive through the countryside, see the Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance and head toward horse country in Middleburg. It's a small town established 1787. They've really kept up with the old world charm.
Dad and I like to have some lunch and do a bit of antique shopping. I bought some gorgeous etched prints from the 1830s. They weren't as expensive as you'd think.
And here I am resting in the sunroom of my dad's home. We were surrounded by beautiful turning leaves from the season. Texas does NOT have a pretty fall. Virginia does, though. I'm so tired in this picture ha ha, but leaning my head back, you can't see all my sagging skin. I think it just fell behind my ears 😂.
But I'm back, and I've been cranking out the work. I've got a new book announcement, AND...
