Hey Friend!
I'm now back from Toronto! Northern Rainbow Romance Retreat wasn't just a book signing event, but it was also a retreat for writers, offering workshops, networking, and simply making friends.
Now, I don't approach people well lol. I get weirdly shy, but once you get me going, I can talk your ear off. But it's hard when you're alone and don't know anyone. But I met some great people and got to meet some favorite authors of my own! Even better, I got to meet my friend and PA, Nicole! She lives in the Toronto area, so she stopped by for the book signing event. We had a great time! I also got to meet my editor, Jenn! She's awesome, too.
Excuse the gray hair. I'm getting old, you know LOL.
I bought some books and wish I could've bought more, but space was limited for my flight back.
Speaking of flights, my flight was delayed, so I missed my second flight. I made it to Virginia, and wouldn't you know it? It close to my dad, so I got to say hello and stay overnight with him. It wasn't a long visit, but we had fun!
This year is coming quickly to an end, and I'm scrambling to get everything done as I usually do each year. You would think I would learn... nope. I've got a book release this month, I'm wrapping up my first audio book (SOOOO excited for this one), I have a charity anthology going out the 1st of December, AND Blaze & Ajax are coming mid-December.
I'm not sweating and stressing. Not me, lol.
