Just the sight of Nico ‘Stix’ Jamieson makes me want to hurt something. Between his stupid smiles on that annoyingly handsome face and the constant drumming of anything that makes a sound with those drumsticks of his, I want to throttle him. No one is that happy. I don’t trust it. Even when my hate for him is clear, he throws it back in my face with a smile and wave. And how he loves to push my buttons when he’s feeling especially obnoxious. When Stone turned around, he stopped in his tracks as his hazel eyes flecked with golds narrowed and bore into mine. His full lips sneered as he chewed on a toothpick, looking like he was ready to rumble. God, how could someone be so intense and scary yet sexy at the same time? And while he had the prettiest eyes I’d ever seen with thick, black lashes under thick brows, the clef in his chin always sucked me in. I wanted to lick it. Don’t ask. And, of course, he had the perfect amount of scruff over his chiseled f**king jaw. Why did he have to look so f**king perfect on the outside and be so rotten on the inside? A$$holes like him had no right to look so hot. And he was exactly my type in the looks department.

“Hey! If it’s not my little angry pet rock. Looking adorably scowly as always, rolling stone,” I said, walking into the room and shoving my jacket and board into the locker with a nonchalance I didn’t feel. Honestly, he scared me a little, but I couldn’t let him see my weakness. The last thing I needed was to look like prey more than I already did. I wasn’t nearly as tough as my friends. They’d been through a hell of a lot more than I had.

“F*ck you,” he hissed.

I turned to face him and winked. “You know, I’d really love to, but you’d need to be into dudes. Although, you got the perfect amount of growl, so I might be willing to negotiate.”

He rushed at me, and I may have seen my life flash before my eyes as he stood toe-to-toe with me while my heart threatened to leap right out of my chest. I did everything not to show fear while also trying not to imagine his hand on my throat, squeezing tightly, as he pounded into me. Yeah, I was f**ked up. I shouldn’t want this a$$hole to f*ck me at all, but I couldn’t help it. My body knew what it liked.
