๐น Alpha's Rejects is Almost Over ๐น

Hey Friends!
I'm not crying. You're crying.
Okay, I cried. When I wrote 'The End' to Cueball & Double-Z, I teared up. The end of Alpha's Rejects has hit me harder than the end of The District. There was just something about my skater boys. They were so real, troubled, but fought so hard to find a smidgeon of happiness. I invested a lot of research into their lives, and I've learned so much about ADHD, conversion therapy, amputations, selective mutism, and more. All of them are special to me.
I'm so glad I saved Cueball & Double-Z for last. The three of them balance each other out perfectly, I think, but I have to admit, Zero (Gio) is one of my favorites. I'm not sure what it is about troubled men like him and Blaze who just call to me. I love writing them. I think Zilch (Cole) will be the favorite, though. He's the glue. He's the sweetheart.
School has started here already, but really, it's not the same when they're much older. When their young, it's chaos. Now, it's shrug and move on lol. My youngest has two more years before he graduates, then we're finally moving out of the state of Texas. I've been ready for over a decade lol.
My oldest is finishing up college. This is his last year, and I couldn't be prouder. It was a rough road. He graduated from high school just as COVID hit, followed by a two-year lockdown. It was really hard on him, as it was a lot of people. Now, he's doing great, with good grades, and then he'll decide whether to pursue his master's or seek employment in his field of choice. He's aiming to be a city planner.
I hope you keep reading. There's a big giveaway below, and I have a bit of news, but the rest of the year should be pretty chill for me. I only have one book release after Cueball's book, and a couple of audiobooks. That's slow for me lol.
