Years of dreaming — and I'm finally saying it out loud

Hey ,

Thirteen years ago, I started baking breads, and three years later, I showed up at a farmers market with a basket of fresh-baked dessert breads and a whole lot of hope. Over time, those loaves turned into mixes so you could bake from scratch at home — on your time, in your kitchen, your way.

But there's been a bigger dream living quietly in the back of my mind for many years now: a local tea shop. Eek!

A real, sit-down, breathe-it-in kind of place — where a warm cup of tea meets a thick slice of Whip & Bake bread, and where you can grab a mix on your way out the door. A place built on the same idea that started this whole journey: that baking is something we do together, the way our grandmothers did, the way I did with my Granny.

This is about legacy. I'm building something my children and grandchildren can carry forward — a gathering place rooted in nostalgia, community, and the unbeatable comfort of homemade bread.

You've been part of this story (some earlier than others), and I couldn't take the next step without telling you first. It's still a pipe dream (within the next 5 years!), but for the first time, I'm saying it out loud to you.

And I couldn't be more excited.

Thank you for being the reason Whip & Bake is still here, still baking, still growing.
