LinkedIn is making a lot of changes, becoming more and more like Facebook it seems to me. Here's what is going on.

• You can now create a LinkedIn video cover story. Once you add your Cover Story, an orange ring will appear around your Profile photo, and a preview of your video will auto-play silently within your photo frame.
• Are you a LinkedIn Live broadcaster? If so your Profile background will now show your broadcast when you start streaming.
• If you are using LinkedIn Creator Mode you can create hashtags to share information on what your topics are. Additionally, this then moves your Featured and Activity sections to the top of your Profile and changes the “Connect” button to “Follow."

Over on the constantly-changing Instagram the news is all about the new "remix" video editing feature for Instagram Reels. You can now record a video in response to an existing Reel. If you are also a TicTok user this will feel familiar to you. Your response Reel will show up next to the Reel you are responding to.

You can turn this remix feature on or off - if you don't want the general public to see your Reels you can turn the feature off.

By the way, if you're looking for a scheduler that is one of the best for Instagram I like and use Later (that's my affiliate link). There is a free version, but if you are a heavy IG user the "pro" is way better to use.
