Here's a few important updates from the social media world that might be helpful for you.
Facebook Business Suite is giving you a new look and a different way to manage both Facebook and Instagram from the same backend dashboard. Some people love this, some people don't.
- Business Suite can be used on your desktop and on mobile. If you've previously had the Facebook Pages Manager app on your phone you'll be prompted when you open it to replace it with Facebook Business Suite.
- If you are implementing Business Suite be sure that your Instagram account is a business account first, if it's a personal account it won't link into Business Suite.
YouTube has added a metric to help you see how many views your video gets in the first 24 hours it is posted. If you're into building your YouTube channel, that's helpful for you.
Facebook is removing the "Our Story" section from all Facebook pages in the coming month. If you have information there make plans to update and move that information elsewhere on your page.
LinkedIn is adding a swipe up link feature to LinkedIn stories. Do you see that all these platforms are starting to look and feel the same? If you want more information about this new feature here's a solid article to check out.
