When I asked you a couple weeks ago what bonus short story you'd like about Clandestine Magic characters, I wondered if perhaps "more happy ending" would win the vote. Sure enough, it did. (You're a kind-hearted bunch.)
So I'm working on something about Beatrix and Peter set during that epilogue period, perhaps with a few more favorite characters thrown in for fun. I'll share when it's done.
(Oh, probably a good moment to mention: If your mail program has a habit of putting these emails into spam or promotions, you can fix that — and make sure you don't miss this story or other cool stuff — by whitelisting [email protected]. Here's a handy how-to from awesome author David Gaughran.)
Anyway, while you're waiting, here's a bit of Clandestine Magic trivia:
All the exciting right-before-the-epilogue events happened last month. I mean — in their warped timeline, not ours, of course. The trilogy opens in late August 2020, so Beatrix and Peter go through a lot in ten months.
If you've read the books, at what point did you realize they weren't set in the past? (Or did you realize it? I've seen some befuddled reviews, so don't worry, you're not alone.)
