Monday, July 21st at 6:00 pm

Bring a pencil and some paper (or grab your laptop) and join a community of writers. Use the time to work on a project or join in on the prompts and games provided. The group meets from 6:00 - 7:00 pm on Monday nights whenever the library is open.



Tuesday, July 22nd

Tuesday, July 22nd from 2:00 - 4:00 pm

Throughout the summer, there will be several opportunities to spend a few hours playing some board games, card games, or our ‘special game of the day’ at the library. Each session will have a different special game, from Giant Candyland & Giant Clue to retro games with trivia to guess when the game was first introduced. All ages welcome.

Wednesday, July 23rd at 10:30 am

Story time for children ages 3-5 and their families is held at 10:30 a.m. every Wednesday, year-round. Story time consists of stories, body movement activities, songs, and rhymes, helping children grow the skills they need to become lifelong readers. Young children and their grown-ups are invited to join us for these free weekly events!

Wednesday, July 23rd from 12:00 - 7:00 pm

Race the clock to escape this Minecraft-themed room before time runs out! You have 20 minutes to solve the clues and collect your prize, so gather your friends and family to see if you have what it takes to escape.

Thursday, July 17th from 1:00 - 3:00 pm

It’s a Minecraft Tea Party! Two sessions are available for all ages to come enjoy a short story time, followed by a tea party and craft. Dressing up in fancy attire or Minecraft apparel is encouraged! *Registration required*

Join Dave Ellingson, the Paddle Pilgrim, on his life journey with sojourns in Minnesota, New York, Iowa, California, Washington, Scotland, Norway, and Vietnam. Meet his Scandinavian ancestors, his family, his mentors, and friends. Join him on a roller-coaster career as a pastor, professor, poet, filmmaker, and podcaster. Celebrate how "God writes straight with crooked lines." Hear poet Mary Oliver's question, "What then do you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?" and be encouraged to "Paddle boldly!
