Monday, July 27th at 1:00 pm

Join us for a free, family-friendly, interactive adventure. Watch a popular kids/family movie, but with prompts that keep the whole family entertained. Interactive movies get the audience involved by providing cues and prompts for them to say or do things as the movie plays. Everyone is invited to sing along (subtitles provided)! All props, popcorn, and lemonade will be provided.

The Lorax (2012; PG) - In search of a real, live tree, a twelve-year-old boy pays a visit to the reclusive Once-ler, who tells him the story of the grumpy, yet charming Lorax, who tried to protect the forest by speaking up on behalf of the trees.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Join us each Wednesday, Memorial Day - Labor Day at 10:30 a.m. for a family story time for ages 0-5. Story time consists of stories, body movement activities, songs, and rhymes, helping children grow the skills they need to become lifelong readers. After the stories, feel free to stay and play and make new friends! Young children and their grown-ups are invited to join us for these free weekly events.

After Labor Day, story time is split into designated age groups throughout the week. Look for that information in August.
