The Clear Lake Public Library is closed in observance of Labor Day, so no programs will be held. Enjoy the holiday!

Join us at Central Gardens to cook up some new recipes with a few ingredients fresh from the garden. Use a cookbook for inspiration or see what you can come up with from the ingredients provided!

Story time for children age 5 and under is held at 10:30 a.m. every Wednesday, year-round. Story time consists of stories, body movement activities, songs, and rhymes, helping children grow the skills they need to become lifelong readers. Young children and their grown-ups are invited to join us for these free weekly events!

Creative Juices will meet on the first Thursday of every month starting at 5:30 p.m. This hour-long session is an opportunity to unwind and meet new people as you learn a new craft to take home with you. Juice and craft supplies are provided.

Join us on Friday mornings in September and October at 10:30 a.m. for a fun, one-on-one program with bouncing rhymes, books, bubbles, music, and group play just for our youngest patrons. This program is designed for ages birth to 24 months with a parent or caregiver.

Saturday, September 9th from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Find us at the Clear Lake Farmer's Market sporting our book bike, Wheelie Good Books. You can browse through and check out books from right at the bike, and we will even have a fun activity set up. You'll be able to find us all morning, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, at the Surf Ballroom parking lot!
Saturday, September 9th from 1:30 - 4:30 pm
Join us at Central Gardens for the Preservation Celebration! Share your ideas and learn how to preserve those things that are important to us, including food, flowers, culture, the environment, and more. This is a fun and interactive event for all ages. Free. No registration needed.
