Whether you are new to Mahjongg or have been playing for years, head to the library on Monday afternoons from 3:00-5:00 p.m. to play. The group meets in Study Room C with overflow into the sun room. If you have a set, feel free to bring that with so multiple games can get going.

At The Library After School (ATLAS) is an after-school program for 1st - 5th graders consisting of read-aloud stories, exploring the library, crafts, movies, STEM, and activities. The program will run weekly on Mondays from 3:30-5:00pm starting August 31. Registration required - please return to the children's department or email to Brianna.

Bring a pencil and some paper (or grab your laptop) and join a community of writers. Use the time to work on a project or join in on the prompts and games provided. The group meets from 6:00 - 7:00 pm on Monday nights whenever the library is open.

Join us on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. for a fun, one-on-one program with bouncing rhymes, books, music, and group play just for our youngest patrons. This program is designed for ages birth to 18 months with a parent or caregiver. Older siblings may accompany.
This program runs September - November 2026 and February - April 2027.
Activities for older children are hosted throughout the week, please check our calendar for more details!
Tuesday, October 13th at 3:30 pm
Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to join us on the second Tuesday of every month after school for our Teen Advisory Board meetings. This is your opportunity to be a teen influence at the library. Pick which books you want in the collection, re-imagine the teen space, help plan future programs, and so much more! Each meeting counts toward your silver cord hours, so be sure to bring your silver cord sheet to be signed!

Check out one of our many cookbooks and find a recipe to make that fits the Hispanic theme for this month. Bring the completed dish to the meeting to share and discuss what worked (and what didn't) with the group! All cooking levels welcome.
Please bring a copy of the recipe to share and help identify food allergens.

Story time for children ages 3-5 and their families is held at 10:30 a.m. every Wednesday, year-round. Story time consists of stories, body movement activities, songs, and rhymes, helping children grow the skills they need to become lifelong readers. Young children and their grown-ups are invited to join us for these free weekly events!

Throw on your pajamas, bring a stuffie if you'd like, and come join us for a fun night story time at the library on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6pm, October - May.
