Greetings from C.L. Carhart's indie author world!

I realize that I asked you to join my mailing list all the way back in January of this year . . . but I never sent you anything until now. Ugh.

So here's the short of it: I've spent the year cranking out fantasy romance novels and scrambling to learn the ins and outs of advertising and business (and newsletters!). And in the midst of all that, I've totally neglected you.

Not sure if you can forgive me or not. And you probably can't forgive that silly form email that popped up in your inbox (or spam!) early this morning. Major oops on my part; I'm still learning the ropes around here.

After all this time, I've got a plan going forward for this mailing list you've (fortunately? unfortunately?) found yourself upon. If it's not for you, please feel free to unsubscribe, with no hard feelings! The link to do so is at the bottom. 😊

Here's the plan:

1) In January 2022, I'll create an onboarding sequence for this mailing list. Since you're one of my early bird subscribers, you'll get to experience the onboarding before anyone else. First dibs!

2) THAT MEANS you'll get early access to my reader magnet, a short story set in the same universe as my paranormal fantasy novels! 🎉

3) That also means you might get some extra goodies if you stick around for the entire sequence, which should be about 3 emails long.

And afterward?

1) I'll probably send you an extra note begging for feedback about the onboarding sequence. I'm still figuring things out over here, so your opinions are crucial, especially if you hated it!

2) If you haven't unsubscribed by the end of all that, you'll get regular emails from me once a week.

But WHAT will be in these alleged "regular emails?"

1) Updates on my life as an indie author

2) A photo of something interesting (Germany, the ocean, waterfalls, a cat??)
