Last Friday, my husband and I celebrated my birthday—an enthralling event that happens only once per year. 🧁 (Ha, ha, yeah, that was dumb humor.) Like I said in last week's email, we stole away into the mountains of North Carolina for a quiet night beside a pair of trickling streams.

Have to admit, it was relaxing to spend my birthday out in nature. We enjoyed a hearty meal at Haus Heidelberg first. Then while we sat around the campfire, we tossed ideas back and forth about the next book in Elemental Bloodlines.

Or rather, I tossed ideas at my husband, who said, "Sounds good." 😉

Which means he's in the know about what's coming next. Whose story will we discover now that Jasmin and Gregor have achieved their happily-ever-after in Gift of Water?
