Nothing helps one feel better like a little time away from the office making memories with the best of friends.
And last week, I got just that.
Last week, I spent all my time unplugged and completely in a world of magic ... in Harry Potter World, Universal, Orlando!
To make this trip a thousand times more magical and better, I got to meet up with my childhood best friend in Florida (not the state from which either of us hail) for the first time in three years. And, there, we got to go build some entertaining memories, recharge, and capture some sunshine.
The plan was to return to my office on Monday, after two days home unpacking, and get cracking on my list of projects.
Most unfortunately, that didn't go according to plan and my immune system decided a nice little cold would come in handy.
So, my bags aren't quite unpacked and I am behind, but I can't begrudge such an amazing holiday away!
That said--I hope to have a Character Bio (or perhaps a Snippet of History) available next week for my Alamore readers (like you!)
Until then, it's tea, an in person book event in Nebraska, and a lot of naps....
