Feed the flame.

"Feed the flame" is a phrase I learned from my friend Noah.

In the future you will see pieces of content where he describes it in more depth, yet the beauty of words and sayings is that we can all interpret them in our own way.

For me, it is rather simple.

I will ask you these two questions...

What lights you up?

What doesn't?

Feed whatever lights you up!

Minimize the time spent doing what doesn't.

For me, I have two clear examples....

  1. Podcasting
  2. Content Production + Flying Drones

So much so that on a holiday weekend I spent the time painting Noah and I's new podcast room on Saturday, and on Sunday I drove one hour outside of Austin to capture content for a friend of a friend.

Here are some photos below showcasing what I am talking about.

The thing is, the more you feed your flame, the brighter you shine. And the brighter you shine...the more you will attract other people who also have the same energy. When this energy comes together... the world can be positively changed for ever.

So, the WORLD NEEDS MORE PEOPLE FEEDING THEIR FLAME!!!

What would it look like for you to do just that?!?

p.s. Another way I feed my flame is watching the sunrise and sunset as much as possible. I love the energy that I get from both experiences. I encourage you to slow down and observe both as much as possible as well.

Here is one snap of the sunset the other night.

And here is the sun rising directly in front of me as I write this. Every morning I sit on my couch which literally faces the rising sun.
