Lots of amazing things have happened in these past couple weeks that I have to share!

First off, the most recent news is that Kobo Plus has been released in the US and UK. Kobo Plus is a reading subscription platform, almost identical to Kindle Unlimited. But there are few more awesome perks for Kobo Plus. For one, it's cheaper than Kindle Unlimited at $7.99 a month, if you just want access to ebooks only. If you want access to both ebooks and audiobook access, then it's $9.99 a month. With Kindle Unlimited, you only get access to ebooks at $9.99 a month, and you have to pay a separate subscription to Audible in order to get access to audiobooks.

Having access to both ebooks and audiobooks at $9.99 a month makes Kobo Plus a much better deal.

I am going to be enrolling some of my books in the Kobo Plus program, which means you will be able to read them for free there. I have been really excited for this to happen.

If you are a Kindle Unlimited-only reader, unable to afford my books, and/or unable to find my books at your local public library, then Kobo Plus might be a great program for you. There are millions of books in the Kobo Plus program that are not in the Kindle Unlimited program, so there are even more new authors and books for you to discover!

You can read Kobo Plus books on your mobile device, tablet, or any ereader of your choice.

If you are looking to save some money, and still have unlimited access to books and audiobooks, definitely check out Kobo Plus!

The first draft of the third book in the Tootsie mystery series, The Contractor, is just about finished. I'm hoping for a summer/fall release. I submitted The Blackmail to the 2023 Shamus Awards for consideration, so we'll see how it does! I was still honored and humbled that the first book, The Arrangement, made it as a finalist amongst so many other great books!

It's less than two months until my first book convention of the year, Spacecoast Booklovers! There, I will be debuting a new version of my Whitetide Streak series by Marie Long. The first book has been heavily re-edited and re-written with fresh new covers. Patreon subscribers already had first dibs on the cover reveal before anyone else.

Following Spacecoast Booklovers, I will be attending Literary Love Savannah, which will take place in historic downtown Savannah, Georgia. This is a really fun reader convention. Tons of activities, and nights out on the town to hang out with readers and authors! I will also be debuting a new Marie Long book there as well. (Hint: Viking Death Metal!)
