The Blackmail has been nominated for a Shamus Award! I am absolutely floored that this is the second year in a row that another Tootsie story has been nominated for a prestigious award. The winners will be announced during the Bouchercon mystery convention in San Diego.

It is such an honor to see my book listed among so many notable authors!

Last month, I had the honor of participating in a book signing event at my local Barnes & Noble store. It was my very first signing at a Barnes & Noble! I was amazed at the number of people who stopped by to get my books. I had almost my entire catalog there.

Because my signing was such a huge success, the store manager had decided to stock my Plainclothes Tootsie novels in the store! It was a surreal moment to see my books next to famous authors like James Patterson and David Baldacci! I am still trying to process all of this happening.

I also got my Anderson Brothers books restocked, and they are now sitting in the #Spicytok section of the store, next to Ruby Dixon and other famous Romance authors!

I recently joined a new Facebook group with other authors and readers, where readers can leave feedback on works in progress, cover reveals, and more.
