, this past week wasn't a very good one for me for a couple of reasons:

• I lost some good money trading because I forgot to check the news

• I sprained my knee and couldn't work out at the gym on leg day

• An issue with a payment gateway I thought would be resolved wasn't fixed

• A campaign I ran did very badly because of technical issues with the software I used

• I didn't have the motivation to run as I had planned because these "problems" weighed me down

• I couldn't write to you consistently because I was overwhelmed too

All in all, I wasn't feeling very fulfilled by the end of the week…

So I decided to take the weekend off to reprogram my mind.

And to do this, I read a book called: “The Power of Now”

I call this book a must-read for every human on earth because of how much truth it holds in it. (You should get it too, preferably the hard copy)

While reading, I discovered a page in the book that I had folded before

So I decided to take a glance at it (I often fold pages that have the most impact on me in most books I read)...

And what I read energized me for this week.

Because of this, I decided to also share it with you in hopes that it energizes you too.

The book read, and I quote:

“Problems are mind-made and need time to survive. They cannot survive in the actuality of the Now….”Problem” means that you are dwelling on a situation mentally without there being a true intention or possibility of taking action now and that you are unconsciously making it a part of your sense of self…Or you are carrying in your mind the insane burden of a hundred things that you will or may have to do in the future instead of focusing your attention on the one thing that you can do now.”
