I used to see my parents as superheroes who had everything figured out…

At the time I didn't even have the concept of rich and poor in my mind.

I just knew I was well-fed and clothed and all was smooth.

But that was until my dad had a tragedy in his business…

And I realized that money was a whole different game.

I remember getting kicked out of exams and my dad having to come over to the school to plead with the Bursary about my school fees.

It was like a wake-up call to the fact that I wasn't born with a silver spoon.

My family was comfortable, yeah…

But we had money that could finish hahaha…

My dad had done a pretty good job raising us and giving us the best of everything (especially education)...

But after the tragedy in his business…

I knew I had to start seeing money differently from him.

I knew I had to bulletproof my money game…

And that was what led me to the first step to doing that which was of course:
