Chemistry Teacher turned Drug Dealer

I don't like watching series movie…

And if you've been paying attention to my emails…

You must have seen me mention that before.

Because series movies leave you glued to the screen with suspense and anticipation…

They get you attached to the characters in the movie so much that you wouldn't want to do anything else until you finish an episode.

For this reason, I always stuck to movies that I can start and finish in an hour, 2 or 3.

But in the weeks that marked the beginning of this year…

I saw a movie series.

You see, my elder sister has been persistently persuading me to see Breaking Bad.

She said she knew I'd like it.

It was the best series she had ever seen…

And she loved it so much that she even saw it twice.

Well, long story short, I succumbed to her persuasion because she had a taste as good as mine…

And I knew if the series was so good that she saw it twice…

It might also be well worth my time.

So I decided to watch.

And trust me, I was blown away by the mere brilliance of the movie.

I loved every scene.

There was no unnecessary part…

And everything tied in perfectly.

I loved the story line, the plot, the setting.

Everything , I loved everything.

But more than just loving the movie itself…

It taught me something.

Something I'm sure I will never forget in a long while.

Now for those who haven't seen Breaking Bad…

Let me give a short recap.

Breaking bad is a series that shows us how a frustrated chemistry teacher slowly transitions into a ruthless drug dealer who sells the hard drug called: Methamphetamine.

Now this guy named Walter White goes from an average low-earning high school chemistry teacher…

To make tens of millions of dollars in pure profits in less than a year.

Now what made this possible?

I'm sure you're wondering this too.

Now before I tell you what made Mr Walter White rise so fast…

Let me explain the idea behind the hard drug: methamphetamine to you.

Now unlike other hard drugs like cocaine and Marijuana that require cultivation

Methamphetamine is one of the select hard drugs in high demand that can be created artificially in a laboratory.

Now what this means is:

If you decide to deal Methamphetamine (which is illegal)...

You don't need to own a plot of land to grow the poppy plant like you'd need for cocaine…

Or the marijuana plant that you'd need for weed.

All you need is:

  • Someone who knows how to prepare Methamphetamine/ Meth (this person is called a Cook)
  • A laboratory with lab equipments (probably somewhere hidden because it's illegal)
  • Raw materials needed (Methylamine and some stuff)

And with the presence of large amount of raw materials…

You can create Meth in large quantities…

And large quantities mean large supply…

And large supply means more money.

Unlike cocaine and marijuana where you have to wait for the crops to grow…

And harvested and processed…

You can just create large batches of Meth in a lab.

Anyways back to our question:

What made Mr Walter White able to make 10s of millions?

Now to answer this ,

One thing you must know is this:

Even though Meth is easy to make…

And requires lower overheads and stress than other hard drugs like Cocaine and Marijuana…

One thing was:

Getting cooks who know how to prepare high grade meth in the lab were hard to find.

So most of the Meth in the market was low quality.

Then comes in Mr Walter White.

A chemistry teacher with so much knowledge of how to prepare high grade meth.

Now Walter was diagnosed with cancer…

And the doctor told him he had less than a year to live.

He was frustrated because he had nothing to leave his family when he was gone.

He feared for them…

And because of that, he decided that he was going to start cooking Meth just to raise enough money for his kids college tuition when he was gone.

And that he did.

Mr Walter White partnered with a former student of his who was a drug peddler (Jesse Whitman)...

And he and Jesse started cooking the best Meth the Meth world had ever seen.

Before long, My Walter White was noticed by the bosses in the game.

One of the drug dealers who had made multiple millions of dollars selling drugs decided to hire Mr Walter White to run a huge Meth project he had just started.

He had built a huge lab underground that no one knew about…

And he let Mr White run the lab and offered to pay him 1.5 Million dollars for 3 months just so he could cook Meth for him.

Crazy!

Mr White went from cooking Meth in a run down RV and making as little as 20k in a good week selling meth

To working with the biggest dealer in the game…

Running his own lab…

And earning $500k in one single month.

And he didn't have to worry about stuff he had to worry about before like:

  • How to get raw materials
  • How to sell the meth
  • How to ensure it was distributed

All he had to do was show up at a lab and cook and go home with $500k clean at the end of each month.

Why?

Because Mr White made 99.9% pure Methamphetamine…

While the market was flooded with 45% pure meth.

Isn't that crazy

Now if you didn't learn anything from that…

Well I did.

And what I learned is:

You're never going to lack money so long as you're valuable.

And one of the ways to be valuable is;

To have a skill that caters to the needs of people who are willing to pay you for it

Like Mr White and the Drug dealer (don't deal drugs hahaha)…

Or like me and my clients who pay thousands of dollars for my email marketing services

You see, a lot of people wonder why they aren't yet where they want to be in life…

But one thing they never ask themselves is:

Am I valuable?

Are you ?

Answer that

Stay jiggy

Oxide.

PS: If you want to be very valuable…
