One line my school's Chaplain used to repeat constantly was (I went to a mission school, hence, the chaplain thingy):

“Read like prayer does not exist, and pray like you've not read”

It's a somewhat contradicting line.

Anyways, with this line, I went on to have straight As in my WAEC Examination…

Because I read like there was nothing called luck or prayer…

I was madly prepared.

I coined my line which goes:

“Work like luck doesn't exist”

Even though I believe sheer luck exists…

And like before, this line has helped me so much…

Because it pushes me to do my best in whatever I do.
