, I'm re-reading the Biography of Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson…

And boy, am I learning a lot.

It seems like I never even read it because I'm learning so much more than I did when I first read it.

I also have a different perspective on my reading because of my current experiences.

This makes me understand why most ardent readers say the magic happens in the second reading.

And that's why I love to re-read my best books.

Did that with:

• The Power of Now
• Subtle art of not giving a fuck
• The Outliers 
• 48 laws of power 
• Minimalism
• Atomic Habits
• Money

And so much more…(can't list them all rn)

Each time I re-read these books…

I always saw things differently and learned more…

But here's what I think is the major benefit of re-reading:

You are more likely to execute the wisdom in these books on the second read.

I call this The Re-reading Magic

The first time you read them,

You get excited and energized…

But you're less likely to execute because your brain confuses the excitement with execution…

And that makes you slack in executing.

But by the second read, you would begin to catch on to things you missed.

Your brain is no longer over-excited…

So to make up for that lack of excitement that you had on the first read…

You will be moved to get that thrill by execution.

And that , is where the magic of re-reading happens.

So I urge you…

It might be time to re-read it.
