, learning to play the piano/keyboard has not been easy…

It's been like learning a new language entirely.

I'm glad I took secondary school music seriously.

I learned how to read music from JSS1 and by the time we were required to start playing the recorder, I was somewhat of a pro at it.

Some of this knowledge I thought was useless is now being applied to learning how to play the piano.

It's still tough…

But my early understanding of how to read music has made it a little bit bearable.

Shocking how sometimes what we think would never be useful to us suddenly becomes valuable…

And whenever I think of this…

The one thing that comes to my mind is RELATIONSHIPS.

Relationships are one aspect of our lives that we overlook.

We get so busy chasing the bag that we forget that before from money…

Relationships are what make the world revolve.

As one of my old mentors used to say:

“What Money can buy, Relationships can get you for free”

So , I always take the time to remind myself to build relationships based on value wherever I go…

And you should build relationships too…

A rule of thumb I apply to every one of my relationships is:

I must first be valuable to the person without expecting a form of value in return.

This is what guides my relationship with people.

You can steal it, and use it…

Or not…

But I guarantee that if you do, you will be grateful you took my advice.
