, yesterday during my email reading rounds (I read emails of mentors and coaches I look up to so I get better)...

I came across a certain email from one of my favourite coaches that was so powerful…

That I resolved in my heart to share it with you in today's letter.

At first I wanted to talk about Darwin's theory of Use and Disuse and how you can use it to make a shitload of money in this second half of the year…

But because of how important the message from this coach was…

I'll be talking about that tomorrow instead (keep your eyes peeled)...

And today's letter would be about what my coach said.

Now before I dive into it…

I remember I promised to send you my Mindset Programming Worksheet yesterday by 5PM…

But I was stuck in traffic (caused by heavy rain) till almost 7PM.

And I couldn't send it out to you…

(I go through this worksheet every morning before my client acquisition and it reminds me how much power I hold to create the reality I want)

Now let's dive into what this coach said that was so scintillating, I changed my topic for today's email.

Now this coach was talking about RESENTMENT…

And how most entrepreneurs trying to create wealth on the internet forget to forgive ourselves.

He said and I quote:

“Resentment -- the act of holding onto the past is what I've found will rob you of any ability to scale and grow with happiness.

“It's easy in business for this to happen.

Business deals that didn't work out...

Clients that have a wildly different perspective than you...

Team members that simply don't do what they say...

“The potential to hold onto the past inside of a business is massive.

“And the truth is...

If you don't let go

and you hold a grudge that robs you of running a business.

“To understand the experience of someone else and simply know that someone is doing the best they can in any given moment gives you a higher level of freedom than holding onto that resentment.

“But there is a layer even deeper than this.

The resentment towards yourself.

“Perhaps the most difficult thing to do is to let the past be the past.

When people talk about mindset issues.

“Generally, what they are referring to more than not?

Divorcing the past and forgetting about it.

“The easiest and only way to do this?

Get busy living.  

“I've found that the only way through those times when you hold deep resentment towards yourself or the universe.

“Is to simply get into a high level of momentum

so you don't have the time to over-think.”

the summary of this is:

We are both humans…

And sometimes we fail and falter…

We disappoint ourselves and others…

We under-deliver on our promises and even go back on our words and values sometimes…

But the ability to identify this…

Take responsibility for it…

Resolve not to fall into it again…

And most importantly…

Forgive yourself for these shortcomings is very key to running a business.

You can't run a business out of self-hate and resentment.

That's the reason a lot of entrepreneurs are unhappy.

The ability to forgive yourself is what would help you create a business that stands the test of time.

Because what's life without bumps on the road?

What's living without ups and downs?

What's adventure without highs and lows?
