#1 Reason I was Broke

Apr 04, 2024 9:11 am

, a few years back, I discovered something that changed my perception of Money and how I treated it.

What I discovered answered the question I had been asking myself at that time which was:

“Why couldn't I make more money than this?”

Cause you see , at the time I was struggling with making past a certain amount of money.

I would make a lot of money and when I got to that figure…

It's like the money would just stop coming in.

And then I would regress and go back to level one.

I would panic and go hard again until I made the money back…

But whenever I got to that figure, the same thing would happen again.

It was frustrating until I discovered what I'm about to share with you today.

What did I discover?

I discovered the principle of the money ceiling.

You see , you and I have what we call our “Money Ceiling” and “Money Floor

Our money floor is the amount of money that when we have, it makes us panic and feel pushed to work hard.

Our money ceiling is the amount that when we have, we feel relaxed, and secure, and in most cases, we start to regress (until we get back to the floor again)

For example:

If you had one million USD in your bank account…you might feel relaxed and you won't do any hard work for a year.

But if Elon Musk has just one million USD in his bank account…he would panic and might even have a heart attack.

In this case…

That $1M is your money ceiling…

And that same $1M is Elon's money floor.

Do you get what I mean?

Good…I hope you do because the next part of this letter depends on that.

Now ,

What I noticed was, I couldn't make money past a certain level because every time I got to my money ceiling…

I became complacent and lazy…

I would stop working and doing the things that made me money…

And boom…I'd fall back to my money floor…

And go hard to get back up to my money ceiling and then down back again.

It was like this cycle of doom

Like being on a rollercoaster that goes up…

And then comes down.

It was frustrating!

And I knew I had to change something.

So I decided to learn about money…

And I discovered these principles that changed my perception of Money…

And helped me break past my money ceiling.

They were:

  • Don't hoard money
  • Create space for more money
  • Change your environment

So I created systems that helped me do these 3 effortlessly…

And that was how I was able to break past my money ceiling.

I would love to teach you about money sometime this month. (It's my birth month btw)

But I want to know how you feel about that.

Would you like that?

If you would, reply to this letter with “Yes”

If not, just ignore…

Stay jiggy

Oxide
