Every time we go on a walk she wants to go where the flowers are ? ?. Its a great sensory activity too ? different textures - check, new beautiful smells - check, different shapes - check. i’ve never been an activities or crafts person. Even as a kid. So now that im a mom especially to a toddler with special needs i can have this guilt that i am not doing enough sensory activities or pt or ot and so on... but then i think, God knew exactly what I am into and what i like when he gave me Emma. He didnt give her to a school teacher or pediatrician who knows all the kid stuff and has all the supplies and the know how. He gave her to me as I am without me having to completely change who i am to be a good mom. And that thought helps me breathe and relax ?. So instead of trying to go out of my way to do a puffs in water activity, i take her with me to grab a latte and she can play with the flowers on the way. And she is sooo happy to just be with me and always follows her curiosity and finds something to do. And i am happy too. When i was pregnant i was keeping a journal writing down what kind of mom i wanna be. The main things that came up again and again were calm, and peaceful and happy. Not stressed out trying to do all the things.

Working on my pull up game. This works wonders. Used to be a bit challenging but now I feel I can keep going. Also, just got word my trainer @adavis_pt started up his own practice. Y’all should definitely hit him up if you want a kick in the butt.
