Today is World Down Syndrome Day ???! It is celebrated on 3.21 because it is symbolic of the extra 3rd copy of the 21st chromosome which causes characteristics known as Down Syndrome. Chase and I were talking about what this day means to us... to me, it means I am celebrating who Emma is and the fact that she was born with an extra chromosome. She opened my heart to an amazing world that i didnt even know existed. I met the coolest people in the world because of her. I began to know who Jesus really is because of her. So here’s to Emma. Thank you for being who you are baby girl. You’re my favorite person in the world and I love life because you are in it ☀️❤️. And here is to everyone who has Down Syndrome.
