From Digital Ecosystem to Execution: The Tri-Partite Treasury Model

Aug 28, 2025 6:41 am

Hello,

Four weeks into our treasury journey, one theme stands out: the tools matter as much as the expertise. Here’s how our approach has evolved and why it’s working.

From Ecosystem to Execution

Back in 2019, we launched WealthTech to merge the strengths of Private Banks and Neobanks into a digital ecosystem. Inspired by yachting use cases, we developed our first app, 3A Circle, blending the service of Amex Centurion with the speed of Revolut.

But the market revealed a simple truth: Revolut was already everywhere. Rather than compete, we embraced it. Today, we manage over 50 Revolut accounts for clients...proof of its ubiquity and resilience.

The Tri-Partite Solution

By integrating Revolut into our open banking + crypto platform, we’ve designed a structure that aligns everyone to their strengths:

  • Budget Planning – Client + Private Bank agree on budgets
  • Payment Execution – We handle payments via Revolut
  • Oversight – Private Bank tracks usage without day-to-day admin

Example of account structure: Corporate, Operation, Crew, APA accounts:

Why it works:

  • UHNWI enjoy transparency: (i) wealth strategy with their bank, (ii) operations with us.
  • Private Banks keep oversight without crew payrolls or fuel invoices.
  • We deliver efficient execution through Revolut’s global network.

This is not about replacing banks: it’s about completing the ecosystem.

Looking Ahead

At the Monaco Yacht Show 2025, I’ll be sharing how this model turns operational complexity into structured efficiency for yacht owners and their banks alike.

A Personal Note

Sometimes innovation isn’t about inventing new platforms, but about making the right tools work smarter. That’s how digital treasury evolves: from ecosystem to execution.
