Bitcoin miners are the backbone of the network. When operational costs rise and miners temporarily shut down, fewer Bitcoins enter circulation. This tightening of supply can increase scarcity and, at times, support higher prices. Such periods often provide an opportunity to accumulate (a BUY signal). Conversely, when mining activity returns to higher levels, it can signal a potential cooling period in the market (a CAPITULATION signal).
