[Whatchamacallit] The writer's journey

Hi ,

"The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek." ~ Joseph Campbell

If you aren't familiar with Joseph Campbell and his work centered around myth and the hero's journey, check out his book, The Hero with a Thousand Faces. It is long but is a fascinating read. You may be able to find it at your local library.

Whether you are a home body or you love adventures, you are on a journey every day of your life: your own unique version of the hero's journey.

Today, let's discuss the steps of the hero's journey and see how it can apply to each of us as writers.

The Wednesday Writers Whatchamacallit will meet today starting at 12 PM Eastern, 11 AM Central, 10 AM Mountain and 9 AM Pacific. Hope to see you there.
