Orc freebie, and do you want my Orc Mates in audio?

Apr 29, 2022 12:20 pm

Hi, Wylde-lings! How are you this fine Friday?

I want to get your opinion on something. For a while, I've been thinking of making audiobooks for my Orc Mates series. It would be my first time producing audiobooks on my own (Grim Reaper Academy was produced by Tantor Media), and the production costs seem... acceptable. Maybe. I'm not sure about the process, but I'll learn.

But first things first, I want to know if you want audiobooks! Do you like listening to your favorite romance books?

And I also want your opinion on the narrator. Female voice or male voice? Keep in mind that the books are written in third person, and we're usually in the head of the heroine. Torgar the Molten even has diary pages written by the heroine.

Personally, I'd go for a male voice, but I don't know... I don't want to mess up.

I've made it easy to vote, so please cast your votes and let me know!

Okay, what else do I have for you?

Well, my partner - we've been together for almost six years, we're not married, and I always have to call him my boyfriend, which I kind of hate (like we're fifteen, or something), but calling him "partner" sounds like... we're business partners? Anyway. My partner is launching his book cover design business, and of course I'm helping him. We're still working on the website, Facebook page and Facebook group, and we're getting there. Little by little.

I was wondering if you could support us with a like on Facebook, and by joining the Facebook group, which is now empty. LOL There's only us in it.

I know I don't only have readers on my list, but also some authors. So, if you're an author, you'll find premade covers in the future (we're working on getting some ready for sale), and if you're a reader, then you can just join to gaze upon the orcs and other monsters he's making for me.

In the end, I guess we are business partners. Haha!

Here's a sneak peek at a new cover he's working on. This is for an Orc Mates novella that will be free on Amazon. I'm thinking in... June. Why? Because it's currently in an anthology, and when I get the rights back, I'll be able to publish it.

Right now, you can read it in Monstrous Desires. It's called The Orc Captain's Prize, and it's the very first novella when you open the ebook (or book - there's also a paperback).

Orcs killed my family. They order us around and take from us what they want. And I am determined to end their rule. So when the ferocious silver-eyed orc says he’ll carry me away from my backwater village right to the orc capital, I take this chance. Being among orcs and having access to their Imperator, I can save humankind.

There is only one complication. This orc wants me to become his mate. He promises, or rather threatens, to court me over the journey. And orc courtship isn’t about flowers and holding hands. It’s about showing me his desire. I must pretend to be attracted to him so he doesn’t discover my secret.

The problem is… I don’t really have to pretend. I'm falling in love with my deadliest enemy.

This steamy monster romance is a 37.000 word novella and ends with a HFN - and a cliffhanger. It’s book one in The Silver Fury trilogy.

Spare some love for my old titles? It's the end of April, and I had two releases - a German book (Kaius in German), and Heart of a Naga. May is just around the corner, and I'm working on two projects - Hell's Bells and a Bucket of Wings, and Heart of a Kraken. The first one is on pre-order, and for the second one, I'm waiting on the cover.

Here are some of my old titles that you can check out:

Sick and tired of the dating scene, stressed because of her demanding job, Rebecca needs a new perspective. That’s why she takes her friend’s advice and goes to see Kassandra, who is well-known for her abilities as an…empath. The old woman doesn’t only feel what Rebecca feels, but also knows exactly how to help her. However, when she tells her to pack her bags and board a plane to Europe first thing in the morning, Becca thinks she’s insane. On the other hand, she does need a vacation.

A new country, a strange language, a small medieval fortified city in the heart of the mountains… It’s safe to say Rebecca is forced to step out of her comfort zone. The empath told her she’d find her destiny here. She doesn’t know much about destiny, but she knows the tourist guide, Emil Severin, is one of the hottest men she’s ever seen. Green eyes, dirty blond hair, a wicked smile, and an adorable, panty-melting accent–yes, he’s exactly what she needs. Emil seems to want her too. In fact, he can’t keep his hands off her. Then why is he holding back? There’s something he doesn’t want to tell her, something that prevents him from taking her hard and fast. Well, tough luck, because Becca is determined to find out what it is. If Emil is, indeed, her destiny, then she’s not letting him go without a fight.

Alpha's Feisty Mate

Curvy Skye Watson is through with bad boys. For once in her life, she wants to meet a nice guy and have a serious, probably boring relationship. After three months of waiting for said nice guy, she can’t take it anymore. Out in the club with her sister, Nina, and their friends, she sets eyes on Aiden Ashwood, the new hunk in town. He’s tall, bulky in all the right places, covered in Norse tats, and his whole demeanor screams “danger!”. How could she possibly resist? A one-night stand never hurt anyone, right?

Alpha wolf Aiden Ashwood is on a mission. The quiet town of Misty Falls is being terrorized by a rogue werewolf, and the townspeople aren’t even aware of the threat lurking in the shadows. The Arcane Affairs Agency sent him to investigate the three “animal attacks” in the past two weeks, and find the killer. Aiden has always been an efficient and focused agent. He closed all his cases without so much as breaking a sweat, and he expects this one to be no different. But then, hot, feisty Skye ends up in his bed, rocks his world, and leaves in the morning. He should have claimed her as his mate when he had the chance… Now he’s not even sure he’ll find her again.

Soon, Aiden realizes the “animal attacks” are not the town’s only problem. Witches seem to be involved, and where there are witches, there’s always trouble. When he finds out one of the Watson girls might be a witch, he prays it’s not Skye.
